Appointment of Assistant Dean (Career Services)
The College has established a new Assistant Deanship (Career Services) to steer the College career services, and I am pleased to announce the concurrent appointment of Dr Ron Kwok, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems, to be Assistant Dean (Career Service) from 1 August 2015 to provide leadership in our career services development.
I wish to take this opportunity to register a vote of thanks to Dr Ron Kwok, currently Assistant Dean (Assurance of Learning), for his strong support and sterling contribution in the implementation of Assurance of Learning at the College, which has been one of the major driving forces for the continuous improvement of our curriculum.
Appointment of Acting Heads for AC, EF, IS and MKT
I am also pleased to announce the appointment of Acting Headship for four departments in the College:

Professor Cheong Heon YI as the Acting Head of the Department of Accountancy from 6 July 2015

Professor Junbo WANG as the Acting Head of the Department of Economics and Finance from 1 August 2015

Professor Choon-ling SIA as the Acting Head of the Department of Information Systems from 8 June 2015

Professor Haibin YANG as the Acting Head of the Department of Marketing from 1 August 2015
As the search process for the Heads of the AC, EF, IS and MKT departments are on-going, the above acting appointments will continue until further notice.
I would also like to express the College's immense gratitude to Professor KIM Jeong Bon, Professor Leon ZHAO, Professor Yin Wong CHEUNG, Professor SU Chenting for their distinguished leadership and illustrious contributions that they have made to their serving departments and the College during their Headship over the past years.
