Welcome ESADE International Study Tour to CB
ESADE International Study Tour: Doing Business in Asia, organised by the Executive Education unit of the College of Business, was held at the CityU campus between 5th to 15th January. 49 students from the Ms in International Management programme from the ESADE Business School participated in this 11-day study trip. The trip included lectures, company visits, and cultural activities.
A welcoming dinner was arranged on 5th January. Prof Wayne Yu, Assistant Dean of the College, greeted the students with an opening speech by highlighting the significance of exchanging ideas with students from differernt cultures and backgrounds.

- Prof Nan Zhou, Professor of the Department of Marketing
- Prof Wayne Yu, Assistant Dean of the College of Business
- Prof Wenyu Dou, Director of the EMBA (Chinese) Programme
- Prof Ziguang Chen, Professor of the Department of Management
- Dr John Leung, Director of the EMBA Programme
- Dr Syed Akhtar, Visiting Associate Professor of the Department of Management
- Dr Wilson Chan, Adjunct Professor of the College of Business
- Dr Yanni Yan, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing
The group also visited Hong Kong Cyberport on 14th January as part of their study tour. They have learned about how Cyberport is supporting start-ups and entrepreneurs in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) area, and driving collaborations with industry partners to pool resources and create business opportunities.
A closing ceremony cum farewell dinner was held after the visit at Cyberport. Dr Yanni Yan, Director of Executive Development (International Programmes), expressed her gratitude to ESADE Busienss School for their visit. She hoped that the students has gained some insighs about Doing Business in Asia.
