Welcome IDBA 2015 Cohort to CB campus

The CityU-FudanU Doctor of Business Administration (IDBA) programme held an orientation programme for the 2015 cohort from 15th to 17th January at the College of Business. A welcoming dinner was hosted on the evening of 15th January.

It was the 6th collaboration between the College of Business and the School of Management of Fudan University since 2010. The programme successfully recruited 17 students in the 2015 admission.

The dinner was kicked-off by welcoming speeches delivered by Prof Matthew Lee, Vice- President (Development & External Relations) of CityU and Prof Xiongwen Lu, Dean of the School of Management of Fudan University. Both expressed their excitement at the programme development and they looked forward to more collaborations between the two schools.

CityU faculty members Prof Paul Lam, Chief-of-Staff (Vice-President), Dr Gang Hao, Associate Vice-President (Development), Prof Kelvin Yau, Associate Dean (SGS), Prof Kwok Kee Wei, Director of IDBA Programme, Prof Wayne Yu, Assistant Dean (Executive Education) and Mr Alex Tham, Assistant Dean (Admissions and Promotion for Undergraduate), together with Prof Changjiang Lv, Associate Dean of the School of Management and Director of DBA programme of FudanU, joined Prof Lee and Prof Lu in the toasting ceremony.

The dinner ended with a brief self-introduction session given by each new student. They were pleased to meet their learning partners and faculties from both universities.
