Mr Henry Ko is Vice President of Corporate Development APAC and Chairman of Greater China, Flexport. In this role, Mr Ko leads the corporate development, go-to-market strategy and expansion in APAC as well as overall leadership and business activities in Greater China.
Mr Ko joined Flexport in 2016 as a founding member and Managing Director of Flexport Asia. He has been instrumental in establishing the company’s presence in the local market including forming the strategy and growing the team since inception. Under Mr Ko’s leadership, Flexport is committed to providing its clients high visibility and business value through strategic supply chain management enabled by its innovative and easy-to-use technology platform.
Mr Ko has extensive experience in the global supply chain industry. He held several senior leadership roles at multinational companies including DHL and SF Express, and was previously General Manager at LiFung KIDS, a member of Li & Fung Group. He has been appointed by the Education Bureau, Transport & Logistics Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to serve as the Logistics Industry Training Advisory Committee member, Hong Kong Logistics Development Council member and Logistics Services Advisory Committee member respectively. Previously, he was also appointed by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council as a member of the Mainland Business Advisory Committee.
Mr Ko earned a BBA (Hons) in Quantitative Analysis for Business, an EMBA and a Juris Doctor from the City University of Hong Kong. Additionally, he was elected Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Logistics (FCILT) and Transport and named Global 100 Outstanding Chinese by Forbes China in 2022.
