The College of Business held a recruitment seminar in collaboration with HNA Group for CB postgraduate students and alumni at Academic 3 on 13th March.  The seminar was arranged and supported by the MBA Career Development Services Centre, recently established to assist MBA students in planning and achieving career goals throughout their study.  This event attracted over 60 students and alumni “job hunters” to attend.

Prof Kevin Chiang, MBA Programme Director, Mr Jack Marr, Assistant MBA Programme Director, and other faculty members attended the seminar and gave advice on student’s career planning.   Senior management executives of HNA Group delivered a detailed recruitment talk on the company history, current job openings, and employee requirements.

Participating students were invited to submit their applications immediately after the seminar.  HNA representatives reviewed the submissions and contacted shortlisted candidates for on-site interviews in the afternoon of the seminar.  Available positions ranged from the air transportation industry, to real estate, to retailing, to financial services, to tourism, and to logistics.
