The Executive Education unit of the College of Business organized two sessions of intensive training programmes for HNA Capital at Academic 3 in May and June of 2014, supported by the Department of Economics and Finance.
The HNA Capital Risk Management Programme 2014 was especially designed for the executives and senior staff of HNA Capital subsidiaries, focusing on knowledge enhancement in financial, insurance, and risk management areas. It also covered up-to-date legal policies as well as market changes. Each session was a 5-day intensive programme delivered in the form of lectures, seminars, case studies, group discussion, and company visits.
Prof Houmin Yan, Dean of the College, and Dr Yanni Yan, Director of Executive Development (International Programmes), opened the programme welcoming the executives to CityU.

On the final presentation day cum closing ceremony, Mr D H Fung, former Senior Manager of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and Prof Yue Ma, Chair Professor of Finance of the Department of Economics and Finance, served as the panel of judges. Prof Wenyu Dou, Associate Dean of the College (Graduate Programmes), expressed his gratitude to the company and presented certificates of completion to the executives at the closing ceremony.
