MBA Team participates in charity challenge
CityU MBA students and alumni joined the Operation Santa Claus (OSC) MBA Challenge 2014 representing City University of Hong Kong to compete with 14 other MBA teams in Hong Kong from 1st November to 31st December 2014.
This annual fundraising campaign aims to raise money for Hong Kong and mainland China charities. Each participating team has submitted a business plan to raise money from selling Santa hats and has received seed money from Swire Properties to execute the plan for one month. A panel of judges will select the Most Creative Business Plan and the Top Fundraising Team in January 2015.
The Hitchcock of CityU MBA team consists of five 2012 and 2013 cohort students and alumni: Cathy Fang, Samuel Li, Ken Lin, Christine Seto, and Tanya Tang. The team held its first event Ride for Fun, cycling from Tai Po to Tai Mei Tuk area followed by a Poon Choi 盆菜dinner, on 8th November.
