IBM Data Science Meetup

Dr Tin Kam Ho, Research Staff Member from IBM Watson Research Center in US, where she works in natural language semantics modeling. She talked about the latest machine learning technologies and their uses in the IBM Data Science Meetup held on 25th May.

In the session, other topics including how to use the free data science tools on cloud to kickstart your projects and the introduction of the free data science learning programs from our Big Data University were also discussed.

CityU has established the Center for Business Analytics with software donated by IBM. Featuring IBM’s advanced big data and analytics software, the Center aims to enhance CityU’s Research and Development capabilities, support the University’s curriculum and talent development, and build a healthy eco-system between the University and the industry in big data and analytics.
