CB Retreat on Research

The College of Business, together with the Department of Economics and Finance, hosted a retreat on research from 21st – 22nd August. More than 40 faculty members from the College attended the event.

In supporting the new faculty members in the College, the retreat aims to provide a platform for in-depth discussions on research work and publication-related matters, and opportunities for participants to mingle together, share research ideas and build up their research synergy.

Prof Houmin Yan, Dean of the College, gave his remarks to open the session. Different faculty members, including Prof William Wan, Associate Dean (Research and Faculty), and Heads of Departments, also shared their research work, and strategy on soliciting publication and research grants.
