EMBA study trips to Vietnam and Taiwan

Two groups of students from the Spring 2016 cohort and Fall 2016 cohort of the Executive Master of Business Administration (Chinese) programme attended overseas study trips from 14th – 17th December 2017, at Vietnam and Taiwan respectively. Classes on business topics and company visits were arranged in both tours.

A guest lecture by Prof Chung-hsing Huang, Associate Professor and former CEO of the EMBA programme at the College of Management, National Taiwan University, and a dinner session with students from National Taiwan University, were highlights of the Taiwan visit; while a sharing session to exchange views with local entrepreneurs was the highlight for the Vietnam visit.

Prof Wayne Yu, Assistant Dean (Executive Education) of the College, Prof Haibin Yang, Professor of the Department of Management and Department of Marketing, Dr Yong Wang, Associate Director of EMBA (Chinese) programme and Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance, and Dr Yanni Yan, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing, attended the trips.
