CB exchange students celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival
On 28 September, the Exchange Student Club of the College of Business organized a Mid-Autumn Festival party where exchange students had the opportunity to celebrate the festival like locals.
During the party, students not only made their own lanterns and mooncakes but also learned how to write their Chinese names and experienced wearing traditional Chinese clothing. They also had the opportunity to challenge their minds with traditional riddles and engage in friendly chess matches. Joseph Salesm, an exchange student from the University of Ottawa in Canada said, “I am so glad that I joined this event! The mooncake making is cool. I am falling in love with Hong Kong.”
CB wishes all exchange students an amazing Mid-Autumn Festival and a memorable stay at CityU and in Hong Kong! For more information about the CB Student Exchange Programme, please visit our website.
