College International Advisory Board meeting 2024
The College International Advisory Board (CIAB) held its 14th annual meeting on 13 September 2024. This meeting marked the first in-person gathering of board members since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The CIAB serves as a platform for board members to provide expert advice on strategic directions and initiatives aimed at enhancing the College's internationalisation efforts. Additionally, the board discusses strategies for strengthening the College's connections with the business community.

Dr Peter Wong, the new Chairman of the CIAB, welcomed the members to the meeting and thanked them for their dedication and expertise, which will undoubtedly benefit the College. He introduced the agenda for the day, featuring presentations by Dean Kalok Chan, Professor Michael Wong (Associate Dean of Global Executive Programmes) and Professor Raymond Wong (Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programmes) regarding the plans for the College of Business. Their discussions focused on market trends and potential partnerships to enhance the attractiveness of the Global Executive Master of Business Administration programme in the global-Asia market and developments in undergraduate programme offerings. Board members contributed insights and recommendations to address both local and global challenges, emphasising the importance of enhancing student support, career development, and curriculum improvements to better prepare students for future business leadership roles.
