Professional Summary
Ellen's mission is to assist good leaders become even more effective in delivering results and developing key team members. Over the past 16 years, Ellen has coached many Managing Directors and Functional Directors during her tenure with the LVMH Group of two buiness units in Asia Pacific and as well as Greater China. Additionally, she has provided free coaching to other professionals outside the LVMH Group upon request.
With a coaching philosophy grounded in fundamentals of business and leadership, Ellen specializes in propelling accomplished leaders and their teams to new heights of personal and professional success.
Ellen's passion for HR Management and leadership development has been evident since she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She furthered her education by obtaining a double degree from MacQuarie Univesity, Sydney, Australia, earning a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Human Resources Management. Ellen honed her coaching skills by completing certificates in Executive Coaching Levels I & 2 and Organizational Coaching from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership in Sydney, Australia, 2016. Furthermore, she has also obtained a higher eduction in Business Research Studies from University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia in 2014. Additionally, She is also accredited as Mediator from Hong Kong Mediation and Arbitration Centre in 2021 for professional enhancement.
Ellen refined her business acumen, HR management and leadership sklls while working in various multinational companies over the past 25 years, including L'Oreal, Citibank, Danone, Rothschild and particularly the LVMH Group. For the last 16 years, she managed operations accross 14 countries in Asia Pacig region. She has heavily invovled in M&A, spin off, liquidation and setting up new company during the tenure with LVMH Group. From November 2013 to October 2016, Ellen was based in Shanghai, where she managed the merger of LVMH Watch & Jewellery Business Units with Bulgari ( newly acquired business by LVMH in 2011) and coached/ leaded the functional directors of Bulgari to assimulate into the new working style of LVMH Group, achieving proven business and leadership development success.
Ellen's attraction to the high end business sector, both in banking and consumer goods industry stemmed from her passion to perform to the excellence, she was then appointed to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for LVMH Group for the leadership roles over the past 16 years. Ellen worked to develop people in sales, marketing and all other operational roles, refining her coaching and leadership capabilities and philosophies.
Since leaving LVMH Group in June 2018, ellen has pursued a new career direction. Being a coach for many executives over the years, she focuses on building long-term, trusting relationships with top leaders and their companies, helping them successfully align prorities and maximize profits. She also becomes a free lance consultant and succeeded in doing a few restructuring projects as well. Alongside, she voluteers as a coach/mentor to some students from the Universities of Hong Kong, notably, Hong Kong University, Baptist University and Hong Kong Polytechnic etc.
