Ha Yoon joined City University of Hong Kong in 2022. She received her PhD from Purdue University, Master of Accounting from the Ohio State University, and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Korea University. After completing her PhD, she worked at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University before joining CityU. Her area of research is how corporate governance and managerial incentives affect firms' financial reporting and disclosure decisions. In particular, she is interested in how managerial incentives, the composition of the top management, corporate boards, and lower-level employees are related to various types of corporate disclosure.
