Prof. Kei has nearly 30 years of entrepreneurship, investment, and operating experience in the TMT sector, both in Silicon Valley and China.
Currently Prof. Kei is the CEO and co-founder of Apricot AI, a healthtech company specialising in building clinical and personal health applications using the latest AI technologies.
Before Apricot, Prof. Kei was the founder and CEO of Galactic 8ytes, a Web3 and AI infra startup. He also served as the Managing Partner of Bo Jiang Capital and the Managing Director of Gemdale Investment Management Company. Before these roles, Prof. Kei was the founder & CEO of Launcher Capital, an early-stage venture fund with a portfolio of 15 internet startups.
Earlier in his career, Prof. Kei was the VP and GM at Tencent, overseeing Tencent Cloud, WeCloud and QQ. He also held senior product and technical roles at Yahoo, Cisco and several startups, as well as strategy consulting positions at Booz Allen Hamilton and AT Kearney.
Prof. Kei was a PhD candidate at Princeton University in the area of image processing and an MSCS student at Stanford. He also received an MBA from UC Berkeley and a BSEE with high distinction from the University of Texas at Austin.
