Biography
Dr. ZHANG Lei is an Associate Professor of Finance at CityU in Hong Kong. Before joining CityU in 2020, he was an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Queensland in Australia. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degree from Fudan University, and PhD degree from INSEAD. His research interests include credit markets, institutional investors, risk management, and financial intermediaries. He has published papers in leading academic journals including Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Monetary Economics, Management Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Finance, Review of Asset Pricing Studies, European Accounting Review, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Financial Markets, Financial Management, Journal of Futures Markets, and Mathematical Finance.
