Biography
Minkyu Shin is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the City University of Hong Kong. He joined the City University of Hong Kong in Fall 2021. He earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from the Yale School of Management in 2021, after completing his Master of Science in Marketing in 2016 and his Bachelor of Business Administration in 2014, both from Seoul National University, Korea. His current research focuses on the gig economy and the interaction between humans and AI.
He is currently seeking RAs who are interested in studying human decision-making when interacting with AI programs. RAs are expected to (1) have an interest in mathematical cognitive modeling and (2) conduct online laboratory experiments.
